Weight Loss - End Overeating
End Overeating
By Bridget Loves
Are you ready to stop overeating? Are you sick of eating too much and then feeling like garbage, only to do it again at the next meal? Stop it right now. It is much easier than you think. Essentially you have to just use your hunger signals. The signals you were born with!
Five steps to discover and follow your hunger signals. Just get a journal and for five minutes b/f AND after eating for five days you are going to do the following:
1. Figure out what a hunger signal is! Just wait until your very NEXT meal. The next time you want to eat and grab a journal (piece of paper) b/f sitting down. And notice how you feel on a scale of 1-5:
-starving (rumbles) 0
-neutral (just no feeling of hunger or fullness) 3
-full (stuffed and feeling like crap) 5
Rate yourself on a scale of 1-5 in the journal FIVE minutes b/f eating and FIVE minutes later
2. Now write down how you are feeling
-happy, sad, anxious, unhappy, gleeful, glum, motivated, anxious, etc... Again do this five minutes before you eat and five minutes after
3. Ask yourself what you want to eat and WHY?
4. Simply do steps 1-3 for FIVE days and once you have the data analyze it! By now you should know when you are truly hungry, full and midway. You should see patterns in any emotional eating (eating when you are not physically hungry). And you will see what you WANT to eat and why.
5. The secret to make this really work is focusing on #3. Do you eat what you want? If so why not? This is one of the most overlooked components of eating disorders caused by dieting, stress, media, etc. Start eating what you want!
Simply continue to do this journal until you get to a point where you know how you are feeling when you eat food. You are already breaking free! I look forward to help you on your journey to Break Free from Eating Disorders, Diets and Body Image!
Finally Free,
